Or if you’d like to head out further, travel to the Yorkshire Dales with beautiful scenery and the perfect place to get away from it all – with a tea and biscuit, naturally. Not up for a big hike? Have a wander around Ilkley’s streets, this town is covered with historic buildings, charming independent boutiques, and vintage stores – you’re bound to find somewhere to find some souvenirs! What a fabulous stay. The location provides for easy access to the centre of town, and the building is so beautiful. Having travelled widely recently I congratulate the hotel staff for excellent attention to detail in the cleanliness, as well as the comfort of guests. The room was really large and bedding fabulous. This was the best value stay over twenty or more I’ve done in a row throughout the UK and Ireland. The deal was a bonus with providing for a great breakfast and late checkout. Awesome value!!!

Nice hotel, good location only about 10 mins walk to town. Hotel is clean, or room was quite small but fine & nice modern bathroom. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice of what to eat.

Stayed at Craiglands Hotel Ilkley. What a little gem of a Best Western Franchise.
Hotel is a mixture of new and old.
Value for Money.
Cleanliness exceptional.
Staff so friendly and bend over backwards to ensure your stay is perfect.
Breakfast Quality and choice outstanding.
Self serve hot and cold enabling you to choose exactly what you want.
Ambience was very peaceful.
Word of advice Parking is available but there are a lot of steps up to main entrance from the car park.
I would truly recommend this hotel.

Really relaxing and peaceful - Very nice clean hotel in a lovely spot on the hill close to the town centre- five/ten minutes walk away. Courteous staff.

Cannot fault the staff friendliness, however, would not choose to stay again - the room smelt of food from the from the nearby kitchen vent and couldn’t shut the window. Staff did assist with this.
Our key card stated that breakfast was until 11am on Sundays and Bank Holidays - we arrived in the breakfast room at 10.15 to be told that breakfast had finished at 10am, it was Bank Holiday Monday. The waiter did quickly pull us some breakfast together from what must have been left over as it was more or less cold. Have to say this was highly disappointing - when we told the Receptionist at check out she just said sorry, you should have been told at check-in.
Such a shame, beautiful building in a great location but would not re-visit.
